The Previously Announced Remake Finally Gets Some Promising News
In an earnings report released today, Ubisoft touted the strong release of Assassin's Creed Shadows. But towards the end of the statement, they included a forecast of this current financial year, and slipped in a mention of the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake. The remake, originally announced in 2020, has been slow to develop, changing studios at Ubisoft over the years, and even started from scratch back in 2022. Now, in this earnings report, Ubisoft says that they expect to drop by the end of March 2026.
Mentions in financial reports are definitely more reliable than tweets or blog posts, but you never know what might happen between now and then. With Summer Game Fest around the corner, who knows, maybe we get an official trailer or teaser to react to soon.
