Amongst the many announcements at Summer Game Fest, we got a look at Brass Lion Entertainment's first game: Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver. The trailer reveals only a few details, showing off an anime inspired art style and hinting at the game's story. According to their press release, the game will feature iconic tracks from the Wu, as well as new material overseen by legendary producer Just Blaze. The game will be coming to console and PC, but no release date was announced just yet.

They describe the game further:

"The multiplayer title will recruit players and their friends to fight against the forces of an invasive, corrupting entity called the Deceiver. Up to 3 co-op players will harness the mystical abilities of the Wu-Tang Clan to fight nightmarish enemies in a surreal dreamscape. As they wage war for the collective soul of Shaolin, players can customize their fighting styles and fashion by collecting powerful Jewels and killer gear. Fight, flow, and flex as you experience a dynamic gameplay soundtrack.

Brass Lion Entertainment, headed by industry vets Bryna Dabby Smith  and Rashad Redic, was founded in 2019 and this is their first game ever announced. Just Blaze, who is not only a legendary Hip-Hop producer, but a major gamer and producer of some of gaming's most iconic soundtracks, is also a member of the Brass Lion's team.
